A wedding in Alentejo is one of those things that you start hearing about one day, and suddenly, it's everywhere.
When Henrik and Franzi showed me the incredible estate where they were getting married, in a never ending olive grove, I was left with my mouth open.

I never though a wedding in Alentejo could inspire me this much. To be honest, I've never seen a venue for weddings like this one and my whole mind was creating ideas when I got to this incredible location.


Their concept was no ordinary wedding. It was a festival where they could connect with all those people they hadn't seen for months or years. A celebration full of music, shows with horses and fire and much more.


I have never stayed at a wedding until dawn. But the two of them created a wedding that had little to envy to Onda Linda or Burning Man. And the sun caught us dancing among the centenary rocks of São Lorenço do Barrocal, a place that left a mark on me and that will be difficult to overcome.
