I never imagined being an introvert would be an advantage when I was a boy. I spent endless hours escaping into comic books and tales from around the world, travelling through time and space without taking a single step.
Then when I got behind the lens, I found a new escapism, one that enabled me to capture effortless moments and lock them in time. A simple brush of a hand against a cheek, a lone bird flying across the open sky, an old man watching time pass with a cigarette hanging loosely from his lip. I started out as a street photographer, observing silently from the sidelines. This is the essence of how I work today, 10 years on. I let moments unfold naturally and I capture the beauty in them.

I'm deeply privileged to be invited into the intimate moments of couples' lives. Every session with each unique couple fuels my inspiration, driving the evolution of my photography style. While I'm constantly challenging myself to innovate and embrace new styles, the heart of my approach lies in creating a genuine space of intimacy. I prioritize allowing couples to immerse themselves in the experience.
Despite some initial hesitations many of my couples might feel about being photographed, it's crucial to me that they find joy and comfort throughout our session. And truth be told, by the time we're engrossed, most are so invested they're rarely ready for our session to conclude

MY PHILOSOPHY
I confess that I’m a nerd. I can spend days on end absorbed in comics, indie movies, listening to podcasts about history, or anything interesting for that matter. I have a curious mind and I push myself to become better in every area of my life.
I am a person who falls in love with the small pleasures of life. I have learned to enjoy every day, whether it's a walk with my dogs or a good conversation over wine.
When I'm not working, which is not often, I don't stop creating. Whether it's a podcast, a new project or planning a trip for the future. I'm one of those people who never get bored.
I'm passionate about a good book, a motorcycle ride without anyone knowing where I am, or just a time of contemplation.
Although if given the choice, a good movie with my wife is all I need to have a perfect day.
I can watch the same film a hundred times to enjoy it's cinematography, I enjoy my little pleasures...

Inspiration can appear anywhere, but when you're curious, even the most mundane things become incredible in your eyes.
Ever since I was little I've looked up at the sky, ever since I knew we were floating in a giant ball in an infinite universe, I was captivated by the idea of our own fragility and the magic of us being here.
A gesture of two old men in the street, the color of palm trees in a Costa Rican sunset or the melody of a song coming from a balcony as we pass by.
The beauty of capturing a wedding is precisely that, that everything is reproduced, in a single space and a single day. Magical, don't you think?
