Travelling yoga teacher Juliette and video editor Zack got married this summer in a cosy rustic Villa in Sicily and celebrated over two unforgettable days. An intimate wedding in Sicily that took place for three days, surrounded by friends and family.
I flew in from Tuscany and immediately fell in love with the area, Catania is vibrant with life and motion, a place that inspired me to take uncountable photos of the street vibe and architecture. The venue ( Commenda di San Calogero was a great example of it).
The day before the wedding was spent relaxing by the pool and having a well deserved catch up with friends and family they hadn’t seen for a while since the German couple now lived in L.A and travelled for work more than pleasure. Some guests gathered to make olive leaf garlands that would be the main decoration of the wedding and which I learnt was traditional in Germany.
The venue, well the venue just blew me away. Earthy textured walls covered in bougainvillea, surrounded by old olive groves and just a stones throw away from the sea that you could taste the salt in the air. Every guest enjoyed the gastronomy and the amazing wine of this region of Italy.
I will say no more. Enjoy!
